The 6th of April is a big day for legislation as ten of ‘the good work plan’ recommendations will be introduced. These could have a significant impact on your business, or very little. It greatly depends on your individual arrangements but please give us a shout if you’re unsure. Interestingly, the legislation based on the recommendations that proposed merging employee and worker status failed to get through the commons before the election. A revised version may well appear in the March budget. One presumes it won’t be implemented just three weeks later but we aren’t ready to commit fully to that presumption…
